Last Will and Testament of William Mullins of Mosborough, yeoman (1775)

In the Name of God Amen I William Mullins of Mosbrough in the parish of Eckington and County of Derby yeoman considering the uncertainty of this mortal Life, being weak in Body but of Sound and perfect mind and Memory (Blessed be Almighty God for the same) do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) Impremis I will that all my just Debts Legacies and Funeral Charges be paid and Discharged by my Executor hereinafter Named. Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Elizabeth Mullings the Sum of Two pounds a year and one Load of Wheat every year, to be paid her at the End of every three months yearly and every year during her natural Life And also one part of my Cottage or Dwelling House at Mosborough aforesaid for and during her Natural life and after her decease I Give the same to my son George Mullings. Item I also give and bequeath unto my Nephew Godfrey Hale the Sum of One Guinea when he arrives at the age of twenty one years to be paid by my Son George Mullings whom I hereby appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. And all and Singular the Rest and residue and Remainder of my Estate Monies Goods and chattels of what kind or Nature soever, by him to be freely possessed and enjoyed. But if my said Son George Mullins should dye a Bachelor without making a Will then I give and bequeath all and Singular my Estate Monies goods and chattels of what kind or Nature soever to my Nephew Henry Mullins and his Heirs for ever, by them freely to be possessed and enjoyed hereby revoking all former Will or Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have set my Hand and Seal the Fourth Day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy five
