Last Will and Testament of William Lockwood of Mosborough, stone mason (1835)

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Lockwood of Mosbro in the parish of Eckington and County of Derby, Stone Mason. First – I give and bequeath the Dwelling-house where I now reside, with the Garden, Smithies and all appurtenances thereto belonging, likewise all and singular my ready money and securities for money and the monies thereby secured, household goods and furniture Books, Linen, China, personal Estate Debts, Rights Credits and effects whatsoever and wheresoever (subject to the payment thereout of my just Debts, funeral and Testamentary expenses) unto my Wife Hannah Lockwood to have and to hold the same for the term of her natural life. Also I give and bequeath at the decease of my said Wife Hannah Lockwood, the Dwelling-house where I now reside with the Gardens, Smithys and all appurtenances thereto belonging unto my oldest son Joseph Lockwood his heirs Adminstrators and assigns absolutely and for ever. I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my said Wife Hannah Lockwood sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me made in Witness whereof I the said William Lockwood the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-five
