This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Staniforth of Mosbrough Moor in the Parish of Eckington and County of Derby, Victualler.
I appoint my son Naboth Elijah Staniforth Executor of this my said Will and Testament.
I give and bequeath unto my said Son all my goods chattels and personal property of every denomination or description, the tenant right of the two cottages I hold and am in possession of as Tenantt under the Crown, the tenant right of the house in which I now reside and of the outbuildings and land attached to the same belonging to the Earl Fitzwilliam, for the intents and purposes following. Viz. That after the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, he my said son shall permit my wife Mary Staniforth the full use and enjoyment of all the remainder of my property before mentioned of every description, and of the interest of whatever money or securities for money I may be possessed of at my decease for the term of her natural life. And after the death of my said wife I order my said son to pay to each of my daughters Elizabeth Staniforth, Ellen Lutton(?) and Mary Bassinworth(?) their Heirs or Assigns, the sum of Twenty Pounds each out of my said property. And all the residue of my said property I then give unto my said son and executor his Heirs or Assigns.
