In the name of god Amen the first day of march in ye yeare of our Lord One Thousand Six hundred and twentie and one I Thomas Hobson of westwell in the parish of Eckington in the Countie of Derbie yeoman sickly in bodie but of very p’fect remembrance thanks be unto god do make my last will and testam’t in manner and forme following First I Bequeath my soul into the hands of Allmightie god And as concerning my goods w’ch god hath sent me my will and full pleasure is And I hereby give and bequest unto Anne Rotheram daughter of Thomas Rotheram and I give unto Anne Hobson daughter of William Hobson eyther of them Six poundes thirteen shillings and foure pence if my goods after my due Debts be paid and funerall expenses discharged do surmount to the said sume aforesaid vidlc’t Twentie markes The rest of my goods and Chattles my due debts and funerall expenses discharged I give unto James Hobson my brother and unto William Hobson my brother Williams sonne whom I make my full executors of this my last will and testam’t And I desire James Cowley and Robt Pinder to be supervisors of this my will to see it performed according to the true meaning hereof And I give eyther of them four their paines taking therein three shillings foure pence
