In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Caterer of Mosbrough in the Parish of Eckington and County of Derby, Weaver, being mindful of my Mortality do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following. First I give and bequeath unto my Eldest Daughter Mary the Wife of George Hutton the Sum of Ten Shillings to be paid her so soon as one year after my Decease shall be expired. Also I give and bequeath unto my second Daughter Hannah the Wife of Godfrey Widdison the Sum of Ten Pounds to be paid her so soon as one year after my Decease shall be expired. Also I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Hannah Widdison my Bed and Bedding and everything belonging to it, and also my Chest whereon I now usually lay my Cloathes. Also I give and devise unto my youngest Daughter Alice Turner wife of John Turner of Troway in the Parish of Eckington aforesaid all my Copy hold Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments (and which I have surrendered to the use of my Will) Situate lying and being within the Parish of Eckington in the County of Derby aforesaid. To have and to hold unto her the said Alice Turner her Heirs and Assigns for ever. And also all the Rest and Residue of my real and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what Nature, kind and quality soever the same may be and not hereinbefore given and disposed of (after the payment of any Debts, Legacies and funeral Expenses) I do give and bequeath unto my said youngest Daughter Alice Turner her Executors Administrators and Assigns; to and for her and their own Use and Benefit absolutely. And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said Daughter Alice Turner full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Caterer have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the fifteenth Day of June in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight
