In the name of God Amen I Thomas Boulsover the senior of Mosbrough in the Parish of Eckington in the County of Derby yeoman beinge aged and infirme but of sound and perfect minde and memory (grace be given to Almighty God for the same) Considering therefore the frailty and uncertainty of this humane life doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following First I commend my Soule into the handes of Almighty God my Creator who gave it hopeing through the merritts and mediation of the death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to obtaine free pardon and remission of my Sins And my body I commit to the Earth from whence it came to be decently buryed at the discretion of my friends And as for my Temporall and worldly estate whosowith it hath pleased Almighty God of his goodness to bless me I Give and bequeath unto my Sonne Josiah Boulsover and to Elizabeth his wife All that my Messuage or Tenement Situate or beinge in Mosbrough aforesaid wherein I now dwell Together With all the houses outhouses buildings barnes stables orchards Gardens foulds yards Cartshed Stackyard Wayes Waters Easmentts and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise pertaining And also the seat which belongs to me in Eckington Church beinge made in the front of the Loft ober against The Pulpitt To have and to holde the same unto them the sd Josiah and Elizabeth his Wife for and duringe the terme of their natural lifes or the life of the longer liver of them And from and after the decease of the sd Josiah and Elizabeth or the longer liver of them Then to goo to the use and behoofe of John Boulsover and Thomas Boulsover the two Sonnes of my sd Sonne Josiah Boulsover and their heirs for ever to be equally devided betweene them under this promise and condition nevertheless that the sd John and Thomas Boulsover my Grandchildren shall within the space of twelve months next after they or their haires enter to the premises pay out of the same unto my two Grandchildren Martha Boulsover and Elizabeth Boulsover the two daughters of my sd Sonne Joshia their Sisters three poundes apiece Also I doe hereby Give and bequeath unto my Sonne Thomas Boulsover five shllinges in full of his third part Also I doe hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Martha Higgenbotham Ten Shillings and to Anne Higgenbotham her daughter my Grandchild ten shillings Also my Will and minde is And I doe hereby order and impower my Trusty and loveinge friends William Anderton Gent and William Billam both of Mosbrough aforesd equally and severally immediately after my buryall to make sale of soo much of my household goods Corne and Cattle which I shall have att the time of my death as will raise as much money as will fully satisfy and pay such debts which I shall owe to any person of persons at the time of my death desiring them the sd William Anderton and William Billam to see my sd debts duly and honestly paid and discharged with the money they power to raise out of my Goods as aforesd All the rest residue and remainder of all and Singular my Goods Cattle Chattells personall estate whatsoever (after my debts legacies and funerall expenses are discharged) I doe hereby give and bequeath unto my sd Sonne Josiah Boulsover Whome I doe hereby make and ordaine sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Revokeing and makeinge voyde all former and other Will or Wills by me heretofore made and doe publish and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the Seven and Twentieth day of March In the Third yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord George By the Grace of God Kinge over Great Brittaine Anno Dom 1717
