Last Will and Testament of Samuel Staniforth of Mosborough Moor Side, sicklesmith (1725)

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Samuel Staniforth of Mosborough Moor Side in the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby Sicklesmith And First I Will and order that all my Debts Legacies and funeral Expenses be paid and discharged by my Executor hereinafter named Item I Give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth my Wife the Sume of Twenty Pounds to be paid by my Executor hereinafter named Item my mind and Will is that if my said Wife and Son shall not think fit or cannot agree to live in House together Then I do hereby appoint and I do give and Bequeath unto my said Wife as many of my Household stuffe or Goods as she shall please to leave or take out of my house not exceeding the vale of Ten Pounds the same Goods when chosen out by her to be valued and appraised by two indifferent men to be appointed or made choice of by my said Wife and Son, which said Goods I Will and appoint shall be at the sole Disposall of my said Wife Item I give devise and bequeath unto my Son William his heyrs and Assignes for ever All and singular my freehold customary or Coppyhold Messuages Closes Lands Tenements hereditaments and premises Whatsoever Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Mary the Sume of Six hundred pounds to be paid her by my Executor immediately after my Decease. And lastly all other my personall Estate Goods Chattles and Ready money whatsoever I do Give and Bequeath unto my said Son William Whom I do make Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament Revoking and making void all Wills by me at any time heretofore made I the abovenamed Samuel Stanniforth have hereunto set my hand and Seale the fifteenth Day of May in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Soveraigne Lord King George Anno Dom 1725
