In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Rotherham of Mosbrough in the Parish of Eckington and County of Derby Being of Sound and perfect mind and memory, thanks be to Almighty God, and calling to Remembrance the Uncertainty of this Transitory life and that all Flesh must yield unto Death when it shall please God to call, do make this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following First I Give and Bequeath unto my Eldest Son John Rotherham the sum of Twenty Pounds Likewise I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Frances Swift the sum of Twenty Pounds Also I Give and Bequeath unto my other Daughter Julia Auty the sum of Twenty Pounds for her Own use and Not her present husband to have any part of it. Likewise I Give and Bequeath unto Francis Rotherham my Son the Clock that is in my house where I now dwell Also I Give and Demise unto Francis Oates, my Grand Son, the sum of Twenty Pounds and the little piece of Land lying in Mosborough, Containing about One Rood His Heirs and assigns for ever With what Goods or Furniture there is in the Best Chamber in my house where I now Dwell Lastly I Give and Demise unto my Son James Rotherham his Heirs and assigns for ever, the House wherein I Now Dwell With the Land Belonging thereunto and all the other Appurtenances Goods Chattels and personal estate What so Ever belonging thereunto And I do make and Constitute my Said Son James Rotherham Executor of this my Last will and Testament Revoking and making Void all other Wills and Bequests by me made and Declaring this Only to be my Last will and Testament In Witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 30th Day of April in the year of Our Lord 1812
