Last Will and Testament of Samuel Fox the elder of Mosborough, scythe smith (1811)

This is the last Will and Testament of me Samuel Fox the Elder of Mosbro in the Parish of Eckington in the County of Derby Scythe Smith Whereby I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellen the wife George Hutton to and for her own use my Clock and also all and every my Chairs and Tables, An oak Chest, a Pair of Oak Bedsteads a pair of New Blankets and Three Sheets and I give and bequeath unto my Son Joseph my Bedsteads and Bed whereon I Sleep with all and every the Bedding thereto belonging – And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be at the time of my decease together with my share and Interest in the Trade or Business of a Scythe Smith now carried on by me in Partnership with my Son Samuel I give and bequeath the same to my said Son Samuel Fox his Executors and Administrators to and for his and their own absolute use and benefit Subject nevertheless to the payment of all and every my just debts the expenses of my Funeral and the Charges of and attending the Proving of this my Will and lastly I do hereby make ordain nominate constitute and appoint my said Son Samuel Fox Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty eighth day of February in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and Eleven
