In the Name of God Amen I Nathaniel Creswick of Mosbrough in the p’sh of Eckington in the County of Derby yeoman being sick in body But of good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God, And calling to mind the uncertaine Estate of this Transistory Life, And I being desirous to sette my Estate and sett things in order do make Consitute and declare this to be my Last Will and Testam’t revoking and Annulling all and every other Will or Wills by me heretofore made and declared either by word or Writing And this to be taken for my onely Last Will and Testam’t In the first place my Will an mind is and I do hereby Give and bequeath unto Willam Stanley Children which he had by Sarah Creswick Joseph and Abigall Stanley Fifteen pounds to be paid unto them at the Age of one and Twenty years, And to John Clayton Thirteen pounds siz shillings and Eight pence the said John Clayton is to be paid his at one of Twenty years of Age Also my Will and mind is and I do hereby give and bequeath unto Sarah and Elizabeth Timothy and Mary Cade five pounds apiece at the Age of one and Twenty years And to Cornelius and Penelope Cade forty shillings apiece at the Age of one and Twenty years And unto Jane Creswick Twenty shillings within one year after my Decease. Also unto William Bullas the Elder Twenty Shillings to be paid with a Twelve Month after my decease Also my Will is and I do give and Bequeath unto Thomas Bramall One years Rent. Also my Will and mind is and I doo hereby give and bequeath unto Ruth Creswick Thirty Pounds at the age of one and Twenty years. Also my Will and mind is and I doo give and Bequeath unto John Hasleurst all that Cottage or Tenement scituate and being in Mosbrough wherin William Champion now liveth or Inhabitteth with one piece or parcel of ground called by the name of Kenawhill whereon the said Cottage or Tenem’t now standeth Also one other Close of land meadow or pasture commonly called by the name of the broad meadow lying within the Manner aforesaid Now in the Tenure or occupation of the said Nathaniel Creswick or his Assignes unto the proper use and behoof of John Haslehurst his heires and Assignes forever, He the said John Haslehurst his heires and Assignes paying unto Mary Whalley the just and true Sum of Twenty pounds of Currant English money forth of the said Cottage or Tenem’t and parcells of ground above menceoned and bequeathed unto the said Mary or her Assignes within a Twelve month after my decease. Also I do give and bequeath unto Richard Brierleys Children William and John and Daniel and ……. and Richard Brierley each of them four pounds a piece at the Age of one and Twenty years Also I do give unto Jude Green the sum of Five Pounds within a Twelve month after my decease Also my Will and mind is And I do give and Bequeath unto John Green the sum of five pounds of Currant money within a Twelve month after my decease And unto Elizabeth Grffen and Mary Morris To Elizabeth Griffen the sum of Ten Pounds and Mary Morris the sum of five pounds within a Twelve month after my decease Also I do give and Bequeath unto Frances Lee wid. And her Son and Daughter George and Elizabeth Lee the sum of six pounds thirteen and four pence to every of them at the Age of one and Twenty years Also my Will and mind is And I do give and bequeath unto Robert Haslehurst one messuage or Tenement situate and being In Hackenthorpe with all Houses and Buildings to the same belonging with one Croft or parcel of Ground to the same belonging now in the Tenure or occupation of Thomas Bramall to the use and behoof of Robert Haslehurst his Heires and Assignes forever Also my Will and mind is and I do give and bequeath unto Margaret Crookes Widdow the sum of Twenty Shillings within one Twelve month after my decease Also I do give and bequeath unto Mary West the sum of sixteen pounds of Currant money to be paid her by John Haslehurst out of the House and ground to him bequeathed above menceoned within a month after my decease and Also my Will and mind is and I do give and bequeath unto Thomas Creswick the sum of one Shilling And also my mind is and I do give and bequeath unto Robert Haslehurst for the better enabling him to pay my Legacys and Funeral charges All that Close of Arrable land lying and being in Mosbrough within the Mannor aforesaid commonly called or known by the Name of Noe-hill-brow containing by Estimacon Two Acres more or less Also one Acre and half more of meadow or pasture lying and being on Noe-hill-Top within the Mannor aforesaid. Also three roods of Arable Land lying on Noe-hill Top within the manner aforesaid Also one Land of Meadow or pasture lying on Noe-hill Top within the manner aforesaid Also one Land of meadow or pasture lying and being on Noe-hill Top within the mannor aforesaid containing by Estimacon one half Acre more of less Also one half Acre and one Rood of Arable Land lying and being with the Church field within the Mannor aforesaid Also one Little Pingle of meadow or pasture lying and Adjoining to the side of Little more containing by Estimacon three Roods more or less within the mannor aforesaid Now all and every of them in the Tenure or occupacon of him the said Nathaniel Creswick or his Assignes as the same is set down in a certaine Letter of Attorney made to William Unwyn and Francis French bearing date with these presents And All other Coppyhold Lands whatsoever which is not bequeathed heretofore by any other Writing I do give and bequeath unto the said Robert Haslehurst with all other my Goods Cattles and Chattles whatsoever unbequeathed I do solely give and bequeath unto the said Rob’t Haslehurst whom I make Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testam’t In Wittness whereof I the said Nathaniel Creswick have hereunto set my hand and Seale the Thirteenth day of June in the Sixth year of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord and Lady William and Mary King and Queen over England Anno Dm 1694
