Last Will and Testament of John Cowley of Mosborough, wheelwright (1814)

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Cowley of Mosborough in the Parish of Eckington and County of Derby Wheelwright made the Twenty Seventh day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fourteen – First I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Caterer all my personal Estate and Effects Whatsoever and Wheresoever and Whatsoever Nature kind or quality the same may be after the payment of my just Debts Funeral and testamentary Expenses To and for her own use and benefit. I give and devise all my Freehold Estate situate at Killamarsh in the County of Derby where soever unto my kind Relations George Thompson, Cornelius Thompson Mary Hobson, Sarah France and Robert Harwood (they paying thereout, within Twelve Kalendar months next after my decease unto Thomas Caterer, George Caterer, and Mary Caterer, the Sum of Five Pounds apiece each, and to William Caterer the sum of Ten Pounds) To have and to hold unto them the said Geogre Thompson, Cornelius Thompson, Sarah France and Robert Harwood their heirs and assigns for ever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint Elizabeth Caterer Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written
