Last Will and Testament of Mary Pedley of Plumley, widow (1736)

September ye 6 1736

In ye Name of God Amen I Mary Pedley of Plumley in ye Parish of Eckington and County of Darby Widdow being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory praised be Almighty God for it considering ye certainty of Death and ye uncertainty of ye time whom do make and Oradine this my last will and testament In manner and form following Imprimis I Give and bequeath to my well beloved Daughter Ann ye wife of Peter Steel my best black suit of wearing Apparel and ye sum of three pounds in money Item I give to my well beloved Daughter Mary wife of John Smith ye sum of three pounds and to my Gransons John and Francis Smith each of them ten shilling towards buying them two chests Item I Give to my well beloved Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Henry Norman ye sum of three pounds also I give to my Grandaughter Elizabeth Norman ye sum of five pound and my Side Saddol and if my son Nicholas refuse to give it her to pay two pounds Item I give to my Grandaughter Mary Norman my Chest also I give to my Grandaughter Sarah Norman and my Granson John Norman each five shillings Item I give to my well beloved Daughter Sarah wife to Joseph Hutton ye sum of three pound also I give to my Grandaughter Sarah Booth my trunk and to ye rest of my Daughter Sarah Hutton Children John Booth Ann Booth William Booth Joseph Hutton Thomas Hutton Elizabeth Hutton to Each of them five shilling Item I give to my well beloved Daughter Martha ye wife of Matthew Hobson ye sum of three pounds and my Grandaughters Elizabeth Hobson and Martha Hobson to each five shilling and all ye rest of my wearing Apparroll I give to be disposed of as equally as may be amongst my five own Daughters above Named by my well beloved Son Nicholas Pedley to whom I give and bequeath all ye rest of my goods, Cattols and Chattles whatsoever my Debts Legacies and funerall Expeneses being first Discharged and also I Constitute and appoint my well beloved son Nicholas Pedley to be my Executor of this my last will and testament and doth Discharge him to pay or cause to be paid all such legacies as are here above Named to all and every person in twelve months time After my Decease without any Molestation or Disturbance whatsoever and doth hereby revoke all former will or wills heretofore made by me I do declare this only to be my last will and testament and in witness hereof that this is my last will and testament I have here unto set my hand and seale ye day and Date above written 6th of September 1736 Sealed Signed Published and Declared to be ye last will of ye said
