In the Name of God Amen I Mary Osborne of Holbrook in the parish of Staveley in the County of Derby Spinster being weak in Body But of Sound and Disposing Mind and Memory praised be God for the same considering the frailty and Uncertainty of this Mortall Life do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (That is to say) First and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing through the Meritts and Mediation of my Blessed Saviour Redeemer Christ Jesus Inheritt Eternal Life My Body I commit to the Earth to be Decently Interred at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter Named and as to my Worldly Estate I dispose thereof as follows I Give and bequeath all the Money due and Owing to me Upon Mortgages Bonds Notes of hand or upon any other Securities Whatsoever as also all my personal Estate of What Nature or kind Soever unto my Brother Samuel Osborne of Holbrook aforesaid fellmonger and his heirs and assigns for ever he paying thereout all my Just Debts funeral Expenses and Legacies herein after particularly Mentioned (viz.) Also I Give and bequeath unto my Sister Anne Rawson Widow of John Rawson late of High Lane in the parish of Eckington in the said county of Derby yeoman deceased and to my Sister Prudence Osborne Widow of my Brother Robert Osborne Deceased And to my Nephew William Osborne the Elder of Haslebarrow in the parish of Norton in the said county of Derby farmer the Sume of Two Pounds a piece to be paid them by my Executor within twelve Months next after my decease And Lastly I Nominate and Appoint my said Brother Samuel Osborne Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revokeing all former Wills by me heretofore made or Declared In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the twenty first day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty six (1756)
