This is the last Will and Testament of me Maria Havenhand of Mosbrough Moor in the Parish of Eckington in the County of Derby Innkeeper
First I will and direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and payable out of my estate and effects by and at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named Then I give devise and bequeath unto my two Daughters Sally Havenhand and Mary Havenhand (now residing with me) the good will and tenant right of the Public house where I now reside Also all and singular my ready money and securities for monies and the monies thereby secured household goods and furniture, stock in trade debts rights Credits and effects whatsoever also wheresoever to be equally divided between them as per valuation thereof to be made at my decease Also my Will is that they shall continue together at the Public house for their joint and mutual profit and benefit, but in case either of them should afterwards wish to retire from it such retiring sister shall receive from the other (Six calendar months after so retiring) half the amount of the valuation hereinbefore directed to be made and in case of both retiring either of my two sons George and Job shall have the privilege of taking to the said house and effects or any part thereof at a fair valuation the oldest brother to have the preference such valuation to be paid within Six Calendar months after being made
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my aforesaid daughter Sally Havenhand Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me made In Witness whereof I the said Maria Havenhand the Testatrix have hereunto set my hand seal this Twentieth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Forty nine
