Last Will and Testament of Joseph French of Mosborough, Yeoman (1793)

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Joseph French of Mosborough in the Parish of Eckington and county of Derby Yeoman made this second day of February One Thousand seven Hundred and Ninety Three First my mind and will is that all my just Debts and Funeral Expenses shall be paid by my Executrix hereafter named out of my Estate and Effects Then I give and devise unto my daughter Ann French the sum of Three Hundred Pounds to be paid by my Executrix when and as soon as she shall attain the age of Twenty one years which said legacy shall be paid out of my Estate and Effects All the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my wife Ann French for and during the term of her natural life from and after her decease then I give and bequeath the same unto my son John French his heirs and assigns for ever But if my said son John should happen to die without lawful issue before my said wife then I give and bequeath the same unto my said daughter Ann French her heirs and assigns for ever But if it shall so please God that both my said children should happen to die before my said wife without lawful issue then I give and bequeath the same to my said wife her heirs and assigns for ever and I do appoint my said Wife Ann French  Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I the said Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this Day and Year first above written.
