Last Will and Testament of John Otway of Mosborough (1755)

In the Name of God Amen I John Otway of Mosbrough of the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby being indifferent as to Bodily Health and of a sound and perfect understanding and Memory (Praised be God for the same) And calling to mind the Uncertainty of this life, I Do make and ordain My last Will and Testament as followeth And I Give and bequeath unto my Loving Wife Rebekah Otway all and Singular My Moveable Goods whatsoever or wheresoever And also all my Money, Securities for Money and all other my Estate and Substance whatsoever both Real and Personal And I do hereby appoint and Ordain her the said Rebekah Otway Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament Whom I likewise Charge with the payment of all my just Debts, and Funeral Expenses – In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal to this my last Will and Testament the Sixteenth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty five.
