Last Will and Testament of John Avison of Mosborough, yeoman (1722)

In the Name of God Amen I John Avisson of Mosborough in the County of Darby yeoman do make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following first I bequeath my Soule unto Almighty God who gave me and my body to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as to the estate it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose of in manner and forme following Imprimis I give to my loving Wife all my houses lands and personall estate of what nature or kind soever for and during the terme of her naturall life and after her decease I give to my Son Robert Avisson my house and barne and over Croft to him and his heirs for ever he paying to my daughter Ann Farmor six pounds and to my daughter Elizabeth Avisson eight pounds out of the same within twelve months after the decease of my said Wife and likewise I give to my daughter Elizabeth all that building cald the Cowhouse and all those gardens or lands lying betwixt it and the house road for her and her heirs and as to my personall estate after the death of my said wife I give devise and bequeath to my too daughters Ann and Elizabeth equally to be divided betwixt them and lastly I nominate and appoint my said loving Wife Executrix of this my last will and testament revoking all former or other will or wills by me heretofore made in witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seall the 21 day of June in the year of our Lord God 1722
