In the name of god Amen I James Hollingbridge of Mosbrough in the p’ishe of Eckington in the countie of Darbie webster sicke of bodie but praised be god perfect in mynde do make and ordaine this my will and testam’t in manner and forme followinge First and principallie I bequeath my soule to almighty god my mak’r and redeem’r hopeing assuredly through the merits of Jesus Christ my Saviour to have everlasting life and my bodie to be buried …. it shall please my god to ordaine and appoint and as for my worldly substance wherewith the lord hath endowed me my debts beinge paid and my funerall discharged I wholly and fully give and bequeath unto Jane my wife and of this my last will and testament I make Jane my said wife my full executrix willinge her truly to see the same performed In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand the daye and yeare above written
