Last Will and Testament of Hannah Lockwood of Mosborough, widow (1851)

This is the last Will and Testament of me Hannah Lockwood of Mosbough in the Parish of Eckington in the County of Derby Widow I devise all my real estate whatsoever to which I shall be entitled at my decease and over which I have power of disposal unto and equally between my Daughter Hannah Lockwood and my illegitimate Son William Lomas share and share alike to take as Tenants in common and not as joint tenants. I bequeath my chest of Drawers, my clock, half a dozen best chairs, a large wooden box, all my Linen best bed stead Hanging, blankets and counterpanes, mattress feather bed bolster and pillows to the said bedstead belonging, and my wearing apparel unto my said daughter Hannah Lockwood absolutely. And as to the residue and remainder of my personal estate to which I shall be entitled at my decease. I bequeath the same unto my executor hereinafter named upon Trust to sell convert and get in the same and out of the monies arising from such sale conversion and getting in in the first place to pay and discharge all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the expenses attending the execution of this my Will and to divide the surplus of such money unto and equally between my said daughter Hannah Lockwood and my said son William Lomas their executors and administrators. I appoint George Mullins of Mosbrough aforesaid Farmer sole executor of this my Will hereby revoking all other testamentary writings In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty one
