Last Will and Testament of George Turner of Mosborough (1773)

In the Name of God Amen The Thirteenth Day of December in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Three I George Turner of Mosbrough in the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby being in insufficient health of body but of sound mind and perfect memory thanks be to God for it and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die I do make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament First and principally I Give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that give it hoping through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ to receive free pardon and remission of my sins and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and as touching such Worldly Estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me with in this Life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner and form First of all I give and Bequeath unto my Nephew Joseph Hutton son of Charles Hutton the sum of Fifteen Pounds of good and Lawful Money of England to be paid him by my Executor within One Year and One Day after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Nephew Charles Hutton of Mosbrough Sicklesmith the Sum of Fifteen Pounds of good and Lawful Money of England to be paid him by my Executor within One Year and One Day after my decease. Also I Give and Bequeath unto my nephew John Hutton the Sum of Nine Pounds of good and Lawful money of England to be paid him by my Executor within One Year and One Day next after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Niece Mary Bowen the Sum of Nine Pounds of good and Lawful Money of England to be paid her by my Executor within One Year and One Day next after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Niece Ann Hutton Daughter of George Hutton the sum of Five Pounds of good and Lawfull Money of England to be paid her by my Executor within One Year and One Day next after my decease Also I give and Bequeath unto Anne Cumberlidge Daughter of George Cumberlidge and Sarah the Sum of Eight Pounds of good and Lawfull Money of England to be paid her by my Executor within One Year and One Day after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto Anne Turner Daughter of John Tuner deceased the Sum of One Guinea of good and Lawfull Money of England to be paid her by my Executor within One Year and One Day next after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto Mark Havenhand the Sum of One Guinea of good and Lawfull Money of England to be paid him by my Executor within One Year and One Day next after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto Old Charles Hutton of Ridgeway Sicklesmith the Sum of Three Pounds of good and Lawfull Money of England to be paid him by my Executor within One Year and One Day next after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Nephew George Hutton of Mosbrough Sicklesmith all my Personal Estate Money Securities for Money Goods Quick and Dead Cattle Chattel and Chattels whatsoever mine is he paying my Just Debts and funeral charges and the Legacies above mentioned to the persons above mentioned at the times mentioned for payment thereof And I also Nominate Constitute and appoint my Nephew George Hutton Sole Executor to this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and disannul all other and former Will or Wills heretofore by me made and no other but this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Day and Year above written
