This is the last Will and Testament of me George Storey the Elder of Mosbrough in the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby Farmer made this twentieth Day of October in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and twenty six as follows (that is to say) First I will and direct that all my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expenses be paid by my Executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give and devise unto my son John Storey his heirs and assigns All that my Copyhold or Customary Messuage or Dwellinghouse situate in Mosbrough aforesaid and now in his own Occupation with the workshop Smithy and Appurtenances to the same adjoining and belonging And also one Moiety or equal half part (the whole into two equal parts to be considered as divided) of the Garden adjoining the last mentioned Messuage or Dwellinghouse now also in the Occupation of my said son to Hold the same unto my said son John Storey his Heirs and Assigns for ever Also I give and bequeath the following legacies or sums hereinafter mentioned (that is to say) to my said son John Storey the legacy or sum of Ten Pounds, to my son George Storey the legacy or sum of Two Hundred Pounds, to my son Amos Storey the Legacy of sum of One Hundred and eighty pounds and to my Daughter Mary the Wife of William Armitage the Legacy or sum of Ten Pounds, all of which said Legacies I will and direct shall be paid to them my said children respectively with twelve calendar months next after my decease And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Freehold and Copyhold Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and Parts or Shares thereof respectively and also all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore by me specifically disposed of I give devise and Bequeath the same and every part thereof respectively unto and to the use of my son Thomas Storey his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever to and for his and their own absolute use and benefit. And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said son Thomas Storey sole Executor of this my Will and hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made I declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Testator George Storey have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the day and year first above written
