I George Rippon of Mosbro in the County of Derby Grocer and Draper do declare this to be my last Will and I appoint my beloved wife Ann Rippon sole Executrix thereof I direct all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses to be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give all my household furniture, plate, linen China, glass, pictures, clothes, wearing apparel stock of Draperies Shop money and securities for money likewise the house and garden situated in Sload lane at present occupied by Thomas Barnet and all the rest residue and remainder or kindsoever the same may be to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease to my said wife Ann Rippon Lastly I hereby revoke all former Wills In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand this Twenty eighth day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty

Proved at Derby the 27th day of June 1871 by the Oath of Ann Rippon, Widow the Relict the sole Executive to whom administration was granted. The Testator George Rippon was formerly of Mosbro in the County of Derby and late of Newbold Moor in the parish of Whittington in the same County Grocer and Draper and died on the 27th day of May 1871, at Newbold Moor aforesaid Effects under £100.
