Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Turner of Mosborough Moorside (1764)

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Turner of Mosbrough-Moor side in the Parish of Eckington and County of Derby, as follows, First I give unto my Daughter Ruth the Wife of Samuel Mettam the Bed now in my House together with the Bedding and Furniture thereunto belonging. Also I give unto William Staniforth of Msobro Moorside aforesaid Gent. And Thomas Booth my Son-in-law the sum of Twenty five pounds in Trust for my sd Daughter Ruth and that my said Trustees shall let her have the Money in such portions as she shall stand in need of at their Discretion but if she shall happen to die then the Remainder that shall be left in my Trustees hands shall be equally divided amongst my sd Daughter Ruth’s children; All the rest of my Personal Estate and Money at Interest and Lands and Tenements whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto my four Daughters share and share alike except that the Twenty five Pounds given in trust as above is to be counted for part of my sd Daughter Ruth’s share in the said Division. And I do hereby make my four Daughter Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and sixty four.
