This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Lomas of Mosbrough in the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby yeoman I direct all my just Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expenses to be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give and Devise all those my two Freehold Tenements or Dwellinghouses with the Gardens and orchards thereunto respectively belonging situate at Mosbrough aforesaid and now in the several occupations of myself and Thomas Bacon unto my nephew Edward Mark Lomas his heirs and assigns for ever. I give and devise all those my Two copyhold closes or parcels of land situate at Mosbrough aforesaid called the Crab Tree closes and now in my own possession unto my niece Mary the wife of Joseph Bacon her Heirs and assigns for ever. I Give and Bequeath unto my niece Elizabeth the wife of William Galley the sum of two hundred and sixty pounds I Give and Bequeath unto my said nephew Edward Mark Lomas the sum of Fifty pounds and I direct both the said legacies to be paid within twelve calendar months after my decease I Give and Bequeath my Furniture and other Household Effects and all the residue of my monies and other personal estate and effects whatsoever which I may die possessed of unto my said nephew – Edward Mark Lomas and my said nieces Mary Bacon and Elizabeth Galley equally to be divided between them as tenants in common and I appoint William Hutton of Mosbrough aforesaid Sickle Manufacturer and Thomas Storey of the same place Farmer joint executors of this my Will and I revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Testator Edward Lomas have hereunto set my hand and Seal the eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.
