In the Name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Christopher Blakiston of Mosbrough in the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby Clerk and I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and I declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament and as for touching all my Estate as herewith that it hath pleased God to bless me I give devise bequeath and dispose of the same in manner and form following Imps’ I give and devise to my God Daughter Dorothea Nevill Wife of George Longford Nevill of Nottingham Linnon Draper the impropriate Rectory of Frodingham alias North Frodingham in Holderness in the County of York together with an Oxgang of Glebe Land lying in the said Town fields for and during the Term of her natural life and after the decease of the said Dorothea Nevill I give and devise the sd Impropriate Rectory of Frodingham alias North Frodingham together with the sd Oxgang of Glebe Land to my Cousin Philip Saltmarsh of Saltmarsh in the said County of York Esq., for and during the Term of his natural Life and after his decease to the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten, and for want of such issue I give and devise this impropriate Rectory of Frodingham alias North Frodingham together with the sd Oxgang of Glebe Land to my Godson Arthur Saltmarsh brother of the said Philip Saltmarsh for and during the term of his natural life and after his decease to the heirs males of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten and for want of such I give and devise the said Impropriate Rectory of Frodingham alias North Frodingham to Samuel of Hunter of Wragby in the County of Lincoln Clerk for and during the term of his natural life and after his decease to his heirs males of his body lawfully begotten or to be begotten and for want of such I give them to the right heirs of me the sd Christopher Blakiston for ever Item I give and devise to my sd Goddaughter Dorothea Nevill all my Lands in Stickney in the County of Lincoln during the term of her natural life and after the decease of the sd Dorothea Nevill I give and devise all my said Lands in Stickney to my Successors Vicars of the Church of Langton by Wragby in the sd County of Lincoln for ever If the Governors of the Bounty of Queen Anne for the Augmentation of the maintenance of the poor Clergy do advance and pay the sum of Two Hundred pounds to any Person or Persons who they shall think proper to be added yeto and Laid out for a perpetual augmentation of the said Vicaradge of Langton by Wragby but if no I give and devise all my sd Lands in Stickney to the heirs of my said Goddaughter Dorothea Nevill for ever Item I give and devise my house outhouses and Gardens Orchard and all the rest of my Lands in Mosbrough in the parish of Eckington in the County of Derby those House Outhouses Gardens Orchard and all the said Lands being held of the Manner of Eckington in the sd County of Derby and surrendered to the use of my Will according to the Custom of the sd Manner to my sd Goddaughter Dorothea Nevill and her heirs forever she the said Dorothea Nevill paying all my just debts and Legacies Item I give and devise to my Cousin Henrietta Maria Blount wife of Nicholas Blount of Kingston upon Hull Gent of one Annuity of Twenty pounds during her natural life to be paid out of the Impropriate Rectory of Frodingham alias North Frodingham and Oxgang of Glebe Land the first payment to be paid her the second Lady day after my decease or within ten daies after and separately every Lady day or within ten daies after Twenty pounds during her natural life and for non payments yrof to take distress or distresses and the same to load drive take and carry away and the same to detain and keep until the sd annuity and allowances yrof with Charges of such distress be fully satisfied and paid Item I give and devise after the decease of my sd Goddaughter Dorothea Nevill to the Vicar of the Church of Frodingham alias North Frodingham in Holderness and to his successors Vicars of the sd parish Church forever annual payements or Rent Charge of Twenty pounds if the Vicar or Vicars reside in the sd parish to be paid out of the said Impropriate Rectory of Frodingham alias North Frodingham and Oxgang of Glebe Land the first payments to be paid the first day of May next after the decease of my sd Goddaughter Dorothea Nevill and so yearly every first day of May for ever Twenty pounds and for non payment yrof to take distress or distresses and the same to load take and carry away and the same to detain and keep until the sd annual payment or rent charge and all arrears yrof with Charges of such distress be fully satisfied and paid If the Governors of the Bounty of Queen Anne for the augmentation of the maintenance of the poor Clergy do advance and pay the sum of Two Hundred Pounds to any person or persons who they think proper to be added yrto and laid out for perpetual augmentation of the said Vicarage of Frodingham alias North Frodingham Item I give and bequeath to Michael Rothwell son of Robt Rothwell of Winstanley near Wigan in the County of Lancaster fifty pounds to be paid him within one year and half after my decease Item I give and bequeath to my Cousin Elizabeth Evans of Greasby or late of Greasby in the parish of West Kirby hear Highlake in the County of Chester twenty pounds to be paid her within six months after my decease Item I give and bequeath to Elizabeth Laurence Wife of John Laurence of Lothbury within the County of Lincoln Twenty Pounds to be paid her with three years after my decease Item I give five pounds to the poor of the parish of Eckington and five pounds to the poor of the parish of Frodingham alias North Frodingham in the County of York And after the payment of all my just debts Legacies and funeral expenses I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate of what kind or nature soever the same be to Dorothea Nevill Wife of George Langford Nevill of Nottingham Linnon Draper and do make constitute and appoint the said Dorothea Nevil sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty ninth day of May in the year of our Lord 1726.
