This is the last Will and Testament of me Alice Booth of Mosbrough moorside in the Parish of Eckington and County of Derby Widdow and Relict of Jonathan Booth of the Same Place lately deceased Made this 20th day of January in the Year of Our lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty three in the manner and forme following:
I give devis and bequeath unto my Granson Thomas Booth one Shilling in full of his Share of my Personall Estate…….
I also Give and devise and bequeath unto my Son George Booth all the Tennent Right of the farme now in my Possession or my under Tennents att Mosbrough moore Side or in the severall Tounfield of Mosbrough And his Heirs……
I also Give and devis and bequeath Unto my Son in Law William Cowley all the Tennent Right of my farme at Mosbrough called Leecloses and Westby Croft formerly Tennented by Josiah Boulsover or his Undertennents
I also Give and devis and bequeath Unto My four Children Wm Booth Thomas Booth George Booth and Elizabeth the wife of Wm Cowley all my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever to be Equally devided amongst them Share and Share alike and doo hearby Make my four Children Joynt Executors and Executrix of this My last will and Testament whome I do Charge with the Payment of all my just debts and funarell Expences in Witness whearof I have hearunto Set my hand and Seal the Day and year above written.
